Wallaroo Heritage Trail

The trail starts (and ends) at the Wallaroo Heritage and Nautical Museum in Jetty Road and is a leisurely drive of about 9 kilometres which can be completed in 1 to 2 hours. The trail passes many sites of historical interest and gives a sense of the history and development of Wallaroo.

Moonta Heritage Trail

The Moonta Heritage Trail starts in George Street at the corner of the Town Hall and Queen Square and is a leisurely drive of about 16 kilometres which can be completed in 1 to 2 hours around the Moonta township and the National Heritage listed Moonta Mines area. The trail passes many of the sites of historical significance and gives visitors an insight into the history and development of Moonta.

Kadina Heritage Trail

The trail starts in the carpark near the Old Railway Station Water Tower in Francis Terrace and is a leisurely drive of about 12 kilometres which can be completed in 1 to 2 hours and covers the town of Kadina and then travels out and around the Wallaroo Mines area. (the old mines area is unable to be accessed) and past The Farm Shed Museum and Matta House.

Follow the distinctive Trail Signs (Tour Drive No 40). The Trail passes many sites of historical interest and gives an overview of the history and development of Kadina.
