Victoria Square celebrates the history of the town with the town's war memorial and historic rotunda and incorporates the town's playground. The covered playground is fenced, there is also a full-size train and the new adventures amongst the treetops on the ‘walk in the treetops’ The size and facilities available make the square a convenient stop for parents and a great location for a family barbecue. Victoria Square is at the heart of Kadina.
The Apex Park Playground has a large grassed area suitable for ball sports and play. There is also play equipment suitable for juniors, a bbq, a basketball ring, an OPAL drinking fountain, a bench seat, public toilets and a covered picnic area with a table and benches
The New Town Playground, Kadina is a great area for kids to come and spend some time with lots of different areas to play. Facilities include: play equipment, BMX Track, basketball ring, bbq, seats, tables and chairs, public toilet, shelter, OPAL bike racks and drinking fountain. Large open grassed area for ball games
The Kadina Skatepark is a popular and well-designed site, with four foot quarters, banks and a pyramid, the skate park caters for a range of skill levels. Popular with visitors to the town and locals, the Kadina Skatepark offers a range of facilities which will keep the keen skateboarder or bike rider amused for hours.
The Copper Coast Indoor Play Centre is located at the Copper Coast Tourism Centre in Kadina. The Play Centre is the only indoor play centre on the Yorke Peninsula. For a fun day out, visit the Copper Coast's fun family attraction. Sit back, relax and enjoy the safe, clean, awesome environment while watching your kids play. Don't forget your socks! (children need to be ten and under to play at the Centre) There is also a small range of snacks drinks and ice creams available.
Splash Town – Copper Coast is currently closed for the season – the season usually runs from the SA October School Holidays through to Easter and the April School Holidays. It is located at the picturesque Moonta Bay foreshore, this facility is free to use and is suitable for all ages. The water park consists of four large water slides, one kiddie slide, several large mushrooms and a large tipping bucket. Children must be supervised at all times. Safe use of this facility is your responsibility.
Queen Square is located in the centre of Moonta between George, Henry, Robert and William Street, Queens Square is a community reserve with benched seats, bins, grassed areas, heritage water fountain, rotunda, shaded areas, tables & chairs, turf area suitable for ball sports, picnic area, public toilets and drinking fountain. New to Queen Square, Moonta are a pair of wombat statues. They highlight the significance of the wombat and the role they played in the discovery of Copper in the area; presented by the Moonta Progress Association. This is also the start and end point for the Moonta Heritage Drive. Many community events are held here throughout the year.

The Polgreen Park Playground and Bike Facility has; Learn to ride bike tracks for pushbikes and scooters, BBQs, bins, car parking, drinking fountain, picnic area, playground, public toilets, shaded areas, shelter, tables and chairs. Users of the bike facility must wear helmets and other protective equipment and follow conditions of use.
Victoria Park was established in the 1830's as a land care plantation by community efforts to protect the town from drift sand and to commemorate the reign of Queen Victoria. It is now being preserved as a bush park with many of the original tracks being maintained by the current walkers of the park. It is especially beautiful in spring with the flowers and bird life. Many of the current plants being self-sown by birds as no official plantings have happened for over 130 years. There are many areas suitable for picnics. The Friends of Victoria Park have regular walks on the third Sunday of the month at 10 am.
The Moonta Bay Playground is located next to the car park and right next to Splash Town Water Park. Featuring a shaded fenced playground area, covered BBQ area, bins, car parking, chairs & tables, grassed area, drinking fountain, picnic area and close by public toilets and cafes. Also located at the foreshore is the Moonta Bay Jetty which is an L shaped Jetty, it is also good for fishing and it also has a swimming enclosure. The Moonta Bay Beach is located directly in front & is a lovely sandy beach suitable for all ages.
The Port Hughes playground is located on the South Beach Foreshore Reserve near the Port Hughes Jetty and South Beach. It features a shaded playground, electric barbecues, bins, car parking, chairs & tables, grassed reserve, bike rack, drinking fountain, picnic area and is close to public toilets and a cafe.
The Wallaroo Adventure Playground features a large shaded play area, climbing nets and frames, flying fox, slides, swings and much more within the town centre. Tables and chairs are available and a large sheltered area. Public toilets and a large grassed area are located next to the playground area and shops are also nearby.
Davies Square is a community reserve in Wallaroo with a large grassed area suitable for ball sports, there are barbecues and a picnic area with seating and shelter. The large decorative rotunda is a feature of the area with low concrete walls surrounding it. Parking is available around the square.
The Wallaroo Skatepark is located next to the Town Hall, conveniently located within the town. With banks, quarters, flat bar, spine and a box super low hub. Quarters. The skate park can cater for a range of different skill levels. Popular with visitors to the town and locals alike, the Wallaroo Skatepark offers a range of facilities which will keep the keen skateboarder, scooter and BMX rider entertained for hours.
The Sincock Square Reserve is a small park with large shady trees and a small grassed area. There is bench seating and a small swing set available.
The North Beach Playground offers a shaded playground, Outdoor Fitness Equipment (see below), basketball court, BBQs, a café next door), a grassed area suitable for ball sports, an OPAL bike rack, an OPAL drinking fountain, public toilets and shelters. The Outdoor Fitness Equipment is available FREE of charge and some of the equipment includes: Chin Up Bars, Step Ups, Push Up Bars, Sit Up Benches, Parallel Bars and signage on how to use the equipment.
